CORRECTION: Upon direct conversation by Radio Progreso with Berta Oliva, it was discovered that there are indeed 100 unidentified bodies at a morgue between San Pedro Sula and Tegucigalpa. The morgue announced that it will create a mass grave for them and some of them might belong to the names of disappeared people. But a mass grave with unmarked bodies was not found.
Berta Oliva, president of the Committee of Relatives of the Detained and Disappeared of Honduras, has reported that a mass grave was discovered containing the bodies of more than 100 people who had been disappeared in the last three months.
Oliva accused the government repression of working in conjunction with organized crime.
She also described the critical situation in Honduras, where they receive 10 complaints per day for violations ranging from assassinations, to harassment and death threats to members of the Resistance Front and other social movements.
